As an award-winning multi-published author, Karen fully understands the rudiments of effective writing.  Never offering advice from a place of ego or superiority, she recognizes  the importance of preserving the integrity of each individual’s art. I trust her to critique everything I write.

At my first writer’s workshop, originated by Karen Majoris-Garrison, I began getting some of the most valuable tools a writer can obtain. She has an outstanding ability to teach. She critiques without discouraging, she praises where praise is earned and she advises those who are receptive. Her approach is one of leading aspiring writers to discover their potential. Karen teaches writers to focus on their positive attributes while developing stronger writing skills.

Karen Majoris-Garrison’s perception in editing my story helped me to see my weaknesses.  Her suggestions
helped to turn my ordinary stories into publishable stories.

Karen Majoris-Garrison has a way of picking up the little things that writers miss when they are in the zone.  Clarify, clarify, clarify.  While in the zone, a writer forgets to remember that not everyone is aware of what they are thinking.  She also picks up on movement.  Getting a character from point 'A' to point 'B'.  Karen constantly reminds you of this so the story isn't lost in confusion.  She's helped me to better understand the difference between telling a story and showing a story.  It's made a huge difference in my writing.
